Stimulus Funds |

Contracts have been executed for roof work at both City Heights and Golden Towers.
The replacement of the heat lines and radiators at Latonia Terrace are the next projects that will benefit from the formula based Capital Grants that are part of the Stimulus Funds. The next round of Capital Grants will be competitive. There are four grant categories: creating energy efficient green communities, gap financing for projects stalled due to financial issues, improvements addressing the needs of elderly and/or people with disabilities, and public housing transformation. We will submit an application for water heaters and heat pumps which would be eligible under the green communities category. The due date for this application is July 21, 2009.
