COVINGTON - A little more than a month after the last two families moved out of the Jacob Price public housing projects, a demolition company planned to start knocking down the complex's final three buildings Thursday.
"On Sept. 9 the last two families moved out of Jacob Price homes, and really, that closed the chapter on a development that's been a fixture in Covington since 1939," said the Housing Authority of Covington's executive director, Aaron Wolfe-Bertling.
