ATTENTION
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF COVINGTON
RESIDENTS
The Housing Authority of Covington is seeking to hire a part-time groundskeeper to maintain the grounds at Latonia Terrace. This position is responsible for the curb appeal of Latonia Terrace. This is a flexible position that will involve extensive outdoor work in all types of weather. In addition, it would also provide custodial services to the site management.
The hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The hourly rate of pay is $7.25.
The following knowledge, skills and abilities are preferred:
Knowledge of general grounds care procedures
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
Ability to walk, lift, climb, stoop, stand, carry, load and unload, move large items and other activities related to outdoor labor.
Pre-employment drug screening and background check are required. Applicants must have a high school diploma or the equivalent; and a valid driver’s license. Must be bondable.
